New Delhi. Bajaj has launched the world’s first CNG bike Freedom 125 in India. Its starting price has been fixed at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). The company has introduced it in three variants – Disc LED, Drum LED and Drum. The price of drum variant of this bike is Rs 95,000, the price of drum LED is Rs 1,05,000 and the price of disc LED is Rs 1,10,000. All prices are as per ex-showroom.
Freedom 125 CNG bike has features like LED headlight, monoshock rear suspension, LED headlight and full digital instrument cluster. The company has given a robust design to the bike which has been certified by many types of crash tests. A 2 kg CNG tank and a 2 liter petrol tank have been installed in this bike.
Engine and Power
The company has installed a 125cc dual fuel engine in it which generates power of 9.5PS and torque of 9.7 Nm. The bike has a 5 speed gearbox.
What is the mileage?
Freedom 125 is fitted with a 2 liter CNG tank and a 2 liter petrol tank. A switch is also provided on the handle to select fuel in the bike. It is going to be quite economical to run this bike. The company has claimed that this bike can give a full tank range of 330 kilometers. According to the information, the company can start the delivery of the bike soon.
