Before the budget, JDU opens a new front against the Centre, will Lalu Yadav’s prediction come true?

Patna. No matter who is the government in Bihar, the demand for special status for Bihar never ended. Here in the government, whether Nitish is with BJP or RJD, this dilemma always arises from somewhere. After Nitish Kumar joining NDA, JDU has once again started demanding the status of special state. JDU has once again opened its front regarding the special status of Bihar. Nitish government minister Shravan Kumar said that Bihar should get the status of a special state. If special status is not possible then special package should be given. He said that we are optimistic about the Union Budget to be presented on July 23. We hope that the needs of the common people will be kept in mind.

According to the minister, getting special status for Bihar will be like a package for the state. He said that earlier the state government used to contribute 10 percent and the central government used to contribute 90 percent but now this ratio has become 50-50. He said that the state government wants its contribution to be reduced and for this the central government should prepare a new formula.

Here, RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari alleges that JDU is in the government and is not raising this issue properly. Due to the special move of JDU before the budget, questions are now being raised whether Lalu Yadav’s prediction will come true. Lalu had said that the Modi government will fall in August.
