Mumbai Hit And Run Case Update: A big revelation has come to light in the Worli hit and run case of Mumbai. Accused Mihir Shah had consumed a large amount of alcohol before the BMW accident. It is being told that before committing the incident he had drunk 4 large packs of whiskey and 2 liters of beer. Sources told that in Juhu, Mihir first drank whiskey with his three friends. At that time the driver Rajrishi Bidawat was standing outside.

According to the information, from there driver Rajrishi dropped Mihir’s friends at Borivali and then from there he along with driver Bidawat left to visit Marine Drive in his BMW car.

It is being told that while leaving for Marine Drive, Mihir bought 4 beer bottles (500 ML per bottle) from Sai Prasad Bar in Malad on the way and then he offered to drink beer to the driver Rajrishi but he refused. Then Mihir Shah finished all four bottles of beer.

Accused Mihir Shah was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

Mihir Shah, the main accused in the BMW hit-and-run case, was under the influence of alcohol when the fatal accident occurred, a Mumbai Police official said on Thursday (July 11), PTI reported. This BMW car owned by Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah’s son had allegedly hit a scooter in Worli, Mumbai, killing a woman riding a two-wheeler and injuring her husband.

A team investigating the matter visited the spot early today to gather more information about the incident. Apart from this, the team interrogated Shah and his family’s driver, co-accused Rajrishi Bidawat, who was traveling in the car at the time of the accident on Sunday.

Mihir Shah, his father Rajesh Shah and his family’s driver Bidawat have been made accused in this high-profile case. Rajesh Shah is a Shiv Sena leader from Palghar district. A case has been registered against the accused under various sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), including section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).

After his arrest, a Mumbai court granted bail to Rajesh Shah on Monday. At the same time, the court sent the driver Rajrishi Bidawat to judicial custody for 14 days.
