Explaining these changes, Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made changes in the examination pattern for classes 10th and 12th and its purpose is to eliminate the habit of rote learning. To discourage. The purpose of the changes being made from this session is to develop critical thinking and reasoning abilities in the students.

Change in number of questions:
The most important change that will be implemented from this session is the change in the number of questions. The number of questions will be less in this session.

The number of subjective questions will be less:
The number of subjective questions will be less in the board exams of this session. Whereas the number of objective questions has been increased. Objective questions of one mark will be approximately 25 percent in all subjects.

So many marks are required to pass:
To pass the board exam, it will be mandatory for class 10th students to score 33 percent marks in both practical and theory exams combined. However, there is a slight change in the rules for class 12th students. To qualify in the board exam, class 12th students will have to score 33 percent marks separately in practical, theory and internal assessment. That means, if the paper is of 70 marks then you will have to score 23 marks and if it is of 80 marks then you will have to score 26 marks.

Internal Assessment:
There will be many subjects in the board exam in which there will be no practical exam. In such a situation, internal assessment will be done in them. Internal assessment will be of 20 marks. CBSE has started this system from this time itself. Internal option will be available in 33 percent of all questions.
