The FAA is investigating what was a close call at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Friday afternoon.
A trigger warning was issued from air traffic controllers between a delta passenger aircraft and an Air Force jet. Air traffic controllers issued “corrective instructions” to both aircraft.
The delta flight off from Reagan National was bound MinipolisThe Air Force Jet was leading the Arlington National Cemetery for a flyover.
It comes two months after an American Airlines flight and an army helicopter two months after a deadly collision.
