Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has held a particular community responsible for the population explosion in the country. It is believed that Bhajanlal Sharma was referring to the Muslim community. Speaking at the state level program organized on Population Day in Jaipur on Thursday, CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that programs have been run for population control but there is one category in which there is no improvement regarding population control.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that there is a feeling of compassion and service in the field of health. Health workers are always ready to serve. Increasing population is the cause of many problems. The increasing population also affects poverty and social security. It also impacts efforts to ensure access to health, education, sanitation, water and energy.

He said that family planning should be our priority so that the future generation can use the resources in appropriate quantity. The objective of World Population Day is to increase people’s awareness on the importance of family planning, gender equality, poverty, maternal health and human rights. Due to increasing population the balance of nature is continuously deteriorating. Climate change is also part of this.

If not controlled, many problems will arise
Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar also said that if population is not controlled, many problems will arise. On this occasion, he said that we want that there should not be any vacant post in the department. A provision of about Rs 28 thousand crore has been made for the health sector in the budget. In the programme, awards of various categories were distributed under the Parivar Kalyan Protsahan Puraskar Scheme for excellent services in the field of family welfare.

Baghera Gram Panchayat of Kekri, which gave the best results in population control programmes, was awarded the first prize. Jarauli Gram Panchayat of Tijara was honored for getting second place, Dhirora Panchayat of Rajgarh got third place and Nyorana Gram Panchayat of Neemkathana got fourth place.
