New Delhi:
The Congress on Tuesday moved to a spat between AAP and BJP – that later, through its Haryana government, tried to “poison” in Yamuna and hence contaminated Delhi’s water supply.
A Congress delegation met the Election Commission this afternoon, demanding AAP to complain against both of them, if the claims prove to be false and if it is correct against the BJP.
It was after the top leaders of the AAP, including party boss Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, their own complaints at Ammonia levels in Yamuna.
Mr. Mann and other AAP leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Atisi, also met the poll body officials last night, after which EC sought a “detailed report” from the Haryana government.
On Monday, Mr. Kejriwal announced that the BJP has “done something that may have never been done in history”. “The people of Delhi get drinking water from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh … but the Haryana government has mixed poison in the water coming from Yamuna to Delhi and sent it here …”
He claimed that the Delhi Jal Board rescued the city, and slammed the “attempt to create anarchy … will fall on the AAP”. However, DJB did not play the ball; This called claims “wrong”.

BJP also hit out; Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini said, “This is his nature and thinking of thinking and running away …” and Labor Minister Anil Vij called Mr. Kejriwal a “factory of lies”.
Sources later said that the Haryana government can take legal action.
AAP and Mr. Kejriwal, however, are undeclared in creating allegations of their “poisoned water”. This morning the ruling party accused the BJP of “water terrorism”.

“Ammonia levels are six times above normal in Yamuna … At this point it enters Delhi from Haryana. Such levels are very toxic … This water cannot be treated and supply to the people of Delhi Can not be done. The Chief Minister said, “Will be at risk.
He wrote in a letter to the Election Commission, “This is not a task of negligence; it is a work of water terrorism that deliberately affects the operation of independent and fair elections in Delhi.”
Mr. Saini again replied, thunder, “For these clearly false and disgusting statements, Arvind Kejriwal should immediately apologize to the people of Haryana and Delhi …”
The Congress has now taken up arms, but, surprisingly, it is not (extreme) against the BJP. Instead, it is attacking AAP, a partner India opposition BLOC member and one (on paper) aide.
Congress leader Sandeep Dixit, who is contesting the New Delhi assembly seat against Mr. Kejriwal (and BJP’s Parvesh Verma), said he was surprised by the lack of Haryana Police action against the AAP leader.
The debate around Yamuna water hygiene and potability is now particularly important, as it was assurances made by AAP boss Arvind Kejriwal before the 2020 Delhi elections.
However, neither has been promised, and Mr. Kejriwal is aware of the issue.

Last week, he admitted the voters of Delhi that he had failed to ensure that the water of the Yamuna is both clean and potable, but insisted that if his AAP was voted in the third consecutive term, then it became a reality. Will go
“I am true for my promises. Either I fulfill them, or I believe I had promised, but could not do so. I could not fulfill three promises – cleaning Yamuna, cleaning clean drinking water , And construction of roads of European standards of Delhi, “Mr. Kejriwal said at a rally in Laxmi Bai Nagar in Delhi.
He reiterated that entry – a strategy seen as an attempt to get sting out of the attacks by the BJP on the subject – as soon as he released another section of his party’s pre -peal manifesto.
Unfortunately for AAP, Mr. Kejriwal’s acknowledgment has not stopped the BJP’s attacks. Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a job as he took a dip in the Ganges today during the Maha Kumbh.

Mr. Shah said at a rally, “He (Mr. Kejriwal) promised that he would purify the Yamuna River in seven years and modify it as a London river Tems.”
“He also said that he would take a dip in the Yamuna in front of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal, the people of Delhi are waiting for your world-famous dip in the Yamuna. If not in Yamuna, he can go to Mahakumba and one You can take a dip there to get rid of your sins, “Mr. Shah said.
According to the report of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee from October 2023, several projects are running behind the schedule to clean the river. The report filed with the National Green Tribunal paid special attention to the delay by the Delhi Jal Board and the Delhi Development Authority.
This is not the first time a BJP leader has dared to take Mr. Kejriwal a dip in a polluted stretch. Earlier, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused him of “converting the holy Yamuna into a dirty drain”.
