The delhi government has announced key highlights of the proposed delhi ev policy 2.0, aiming to make 95 per cent of new vehicle registrations Electric by 2027.

The policy proposes purchase incentives for electric two-wheles, three-wheles, e-light commercial vehicles (e-lCVs) and e-trucks.

To Bolster Infrastructure, The Government Plans to Install more public charging points and mandate charging stations in new buildings and public spaces.

According to the statement, Capital Subsidies will be provided for Private and Semi-Public Charging Stations, and Fast-Charging Corridors will be developed along with along with along Road.

The proposed Delhi Ev policy 2.0 is expected to replace the current framework, providing a long-term strategy to further accelerate the adoption of Electric Mobility in the Capital.
