The AAP government first launched Mama Samman Yojana, with ₹ 1,000 per month to eligible women above 18, with ₹ 2,100 planned.

BJP -ruled Madhya Pradesh has a ladle fanna scheme, and Maharashtra has a Ladki Bahin scheme, which both collect cash directly to the accounts of women.

Gupta, who was elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party on Wednesday (February 19), assured that providing financial assistance is the top priority.

“It is important to ensure financial stability for women. We will transfer funds directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries by 8 March, ”he said.

The BJP won 48 out of 70 seats, which ends the AAP’s rules. Former President of Dusu and municipal councilor Gupta, in the presence of PM Narendra Modi, will take oath as the fourth woman CM of Delhi at Ramlila Maidan on Thursday (February 20).
