Dussehra 2024 : Every year Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. This day is also called Vijayadashami. This festival has special significance in Hindu religion. Dussehra 2024 : According to Drik Panchang, Dashami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month will start from 10:58 am on October 12 and will end at 09:08 am on October 13, 2024. This year Dussehra will be celebrated on 12 October 2024. This time on the day of Dussehra, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Ravi Yoga are also being formed. Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will be formed from 06:20 am on 12th October to 04:27 am on 13th October. Ravi Yoga will last throughout the day.

Abhijeet Muhurta: 11:44 AM to 12:30 PM
Vijay Muhurta: 02:03 PM to 02:49 PM
Puja material list: For Vijayadashami puja, collect all the puja materials including cow dung, lamp, incense sticks, fruits, flowers, Shami plant, sacred thread, kumkum, roli etc.
Rituals of Dussehra:
Dussehra puja is performed in the east direction or north-east corner of the house.
On this day, wake up early in the morning and wear clean clothes after taking bath.
Worship Goddess Bhagwati duly in the morning and celebrate Navratri.
After this, make an octagonal lotus with sandalwood and kumkum on pure land in the north-east corner.
Then worship Jaya and Vijaya Devi along with Aparajita Devi.
Worship the three goddesses with proper rituals and perform their aarti.
Worship the Shami tree duly.
Along with this, worship Lord Shri Ram and Hanumanji.
After completion of the puja, pay obeisance to Mata Rani and distribute Prasad to everyone.
It is considered auspicious to see the Neelkanth bird on the day of Dussehra.
