EA Forecasts Annual Bookings Above Estimates With New ‘Battlefield’ Game

Electronic Arts (EA) on Tuesday estimates fiscal 2026 booking over Wall Street’s expectations, as videogame publishers bet on their sports titles and bet on the launch of a new “Battalfield” game.

Extended trading in EA shares increased by more than six percent as the financial year launched the launch of the fiscal year as a long-awaited “Grand Theft Auto VI” delay of the tech-to interactive of its long-awaited “Grand Theft Auto VI”.

The EA’s positive attitude also indicates the optimism of the gaming industry around the flexibility of sales in front of the wide pullback in consumer expenses amidst an American tariff.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson said, “As we look at the future, we are confident in our ability to execute in a deep pipeline – this summer starts with the high anticipated manifest of the battlefield.”

Analysts have said that the delay in GTA VI reduces the competition and may run high sales for other videoogm publishers.

The new GTA is expected to break the records from sales and bring it to billions of dollars within a week due to its massive popularity, potentially putting pressure on the games launched during its release window.

Michael Pachter, analyst of Vesabash Securities, said, “It is always good to avoid GTA … Batalfield gives people to look forward and play until GTA comes out.”

For EA, gamers have also chosen to stick to their sports portfolio with football franchise FC and Maden NFL with proven titles.

The company said on Tuesday that the Mudraization for FC was in double digits after the January update. The football franchise weakened earlier this year.

EA FY 2026 Booking is in the range of $ 7.60 billion (about Rs 67,734 crore) (about Rs 67,734 crore) (about Rs 67,734 crore), which is an estimate of $ 7.62 billion (about Rs 64,517 crore).

It reported a fourth quarter booking of $ 1.80 billion (about Rs 15,241 crore), beating an estimate of $ 1.56 billion (about Rs 13,209 crore), which helps with strong sales of its multiplayer action-adventure game Split fiction that became one of the best selling games in March.
