DCP Central Bangalore, Shakar T. Tekkananwar clarified why the performance was stopped. He said that Chetan, a member of the organizing team, had approached him for permission, but it was refused. The rejection was due to the Church Street having a high-crown area, and according to the order of a High Court, several withdrawal was already done there. Since no official approval was given, Sheeran was asked to vacate the location.
Ed Sheeran is currently in India for him Mathematic Tour and today are ready to perform in Bengaluru. He has already performed in Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai.
