AI-powered entry startup ambitup ambitoo is ready to expand its offerings beyond postgraduate programs after achieving $ 2 million in a seed funding round. Startup co-installed by IIT-Bhu Graduate Dirghayu Kaushik and Vikrant Shivalik is planning to strengthen its distribution network to introduce dedicated graduate entry services and reach students in less active areas.

“More than 80% of our current use is on postgraduate programs. Most of the students studying abroad pursu to the master or PhD programs. Now, with this money rally, we want to proceed as well as graduation with a dedicated offer,” Kaushik told the CNBC-TV18. He said that the share of money would be used to expand outreach and make the services of the ambito accessible to the students in less areas.

Ambitio separates itself from traditional entry consultations through its AI-operated approach. Kaushik said that most players in space still follow traditional processes with limited use of technology.

“The entire system is powered by recruitment agents that work with universities abroad. Our fundamental difference is two times – we do not work with universities; we work with students, and we have received large amounts of data on previous applicants, their profiles and their essays. We also understand how the entry officials of the university have evaluated the profile.

Since its launch, Ambitio has deposited more than 75,000 monthly active website visitors and a user base of more than 50,000 signs. Hundreds of students have already gained admission to top global universities including Stanford, Harvard, Carnegie Melon, Columbia and Oxford. Kaushik said, “One of our students can be accepted in any top university of your name, and this has happened in less than two years after being launched.”

AI-based platform of Ambero provides hyper-parsnalized guidance by analyzing more than a decade of the previous applicant data. This allows startups to match students with universities and programs that align with their profiles and goals. “Every student is unique, and we ensure that they get a customized action plan to help them get closer to their dream school,” Kaushik said.

Students priorities for study sites are also transferring due to geopolitical factors. Kaushik said that the interest in Canada has come down, while the demand for study in the US remains strong despite political uncertainties. The UK and Europe are also looking at stable demand, but students are giving priority to institutions based on the quality of the program and returning to investment rather than geographical location. He said, “At the end of the day, students want to see returns on their investment and the kind of experience they can get while studying abroad,” he said.

On the trade front, ambyitio is targeting $ 2 million in revenue for the next financial year (FY26). Although it has the ability to gain profitability within a year, the company plans to reinstate technology and distribution to increase its offerings. Kaushik said, “We are investing heavy in technology and distribution channels. While we can be profitable next year, our attention is on improving our offerings and creating a more fine and over-expressive experience for students,” Kaushik concluded.
