Evaluation of bat activity in winter: Southern forest provides a shelter for bats amidst the dangers of the disease



Winter in the south can bring a sharp change in conditions that affect forests and many of their inhabitants. However, new research of the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources suggests that despite these seasonal changes, forest management efforts are supporting healthy bat population.
