Microsoft held its Xbox Developer Direct 2025 showcase on Friday, shared details about their upcoming first-fides Games and brought some new announcements. Bethesda’s first-person shooter Doom: The Dark Edge finally got the release date, and so on the action-adventure title of forced sports, at midnight of the south. Both Games also showed new gameplay footage and shared pre-order details on supported platforms. Developer Sandfall Interactive also revealed the release date for its upcoming turn-based RPG, Claire Obskur: Expedition 33.
Finally, at the developer Direct Showcase, Team Ninja and Platinum Games announced that it is working on the next Ninja Gaden title, which is set to release in Xbox, PC and PS5 to release in 2025. Ninja Gaiden 4 will be the first mainline entry in the favorite chain in over a decade, when the Ninja Gaden 3 was released in 2012. The studio also announced the Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, a remaster version of the origin, now PC, PS5 and Across Across, PS5 and a Remastard version so far. Xbox series s/x.

Dark edge launch date confirmed.
The first previous year’s packed Xbox Games Showcase, Doom: The Dark Eggs on Wednesday received a confirmed release date in the Xbox Developer Direct. The ID software confirmed that long-awaited follow-ups for Doom Eternal will be launched on May 15, 2025 in PC, Xbox Series S/X and PS5, with a release of one day on the game pass.
In a developer Deep Dive, ID software shared extensive details about the fighter design, exploration and story of the game. The most ambitious doom has been said, the game will serve as a prequel for the 2016 doom and doom and will be set in a dark fantasy/ science-fi world.
Players will be encouraged to stand on their ground and fight big and mean demons, now playing like a tank with doom murderers. To help the players to defend and attack themselves, the game will equip them with a shield saw and lots of medieval weapons, in addition to the game beef guns. The game is now for pre-order in the Microsoft Store and is steam on PC, Xbox and PlayStation Storefronts.
Midnight is released on the south
Another Xbox first-sided title was confirmed the release date in the developer Direct. Comples Games’ South midnight, first in 2023 was revealed in the Xbox Games showcase, on 8 April 2025, PC and Xbox Series will be released on S/X. The game will also be available at launch on the game pass.
The developers also released a new story trailer for the game, with the details of the characters and the southern Gothic setting. The midnight of the south is now available for pre-order, and the premium version that has been pre-finished will get a five-day starting access to April 3.
Clair OBSCUR: campaign 33 release date announced
First last year’s Xbox Games Showcase, Claire Obeskur: Expedition 33 received an update in the developer Direct Showcase. Turn-based RPG comes on PC, PS5, Xbox series S/X and game pass on April 24, 2025.

Ninja Gaiden 4 announced
In addition to the release date update on the already announced game, Xbox Developer Direct made a stunning announcement for its final update. Dear Ninja Gaden franchise is finally returning after more than a decade as the final mainline title was released in the series. Team Ninja and Platinum Games announced the Ninja Gaden 4, publishing the title after Microsoft’s partnership with Koei Tecmo with Xbox Game Studios, who owns Ninja Geden IP.
Brand-new mainline entry PC, PS5 and Xbox series S/X will fall in 2025. Ninja Gaiden 4 will also be available on the game pass at the time of launch. The game will see the return of the series Nayak, Master Ninja Royu Hayabusa. Ninja Gaiden 4, however, will get a new hero, Yakumo. Team Ninja also launched a trailer, rapidly shown book and cruel scuffle, exploration and traverse and a dark and gritty world.
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Release
In addition to disclosing the Ninja Gaiden 4, Koi Techo announced Ninja Gaden 2 Black, which was the remover of Ninja Gaiden 2 of 2008, which included chicken reforms. The game is now on PC, PS5, Xbox Series S/X and Pass Pass.
