Officials have shifted the Joint Admission Test for Graduate Aptitude Test and Masters (JAM) in Engineering (Gate), in view of the ongoing Kumbh Mela on Tuesday, have been transferred to Lucknow for candidates seen in Shradragraj. While gate is scheduled on 1 and 2 February, the jam 2025 is scheduled on 2 February.
In a joint statement, the GATE Organizing Institute IIT ROORKEE and Jam Organizing Institute IIT Delhi said, “Many candidates have received representations. Mahakumba on 1 and 2 February 2025.
“Therefore, the prescribed examination at the centers of prayer has been shifted to the centers in Lucknow during the respective gates and jam examination days (1 and 2 February 2025 for the gate and for the jam on 2 February 2025).”
