New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has taken a 2-1 lead in the 5-match series by defeating Zimbabwe by 23 runs in the third T20 match. Batting first against Zimbabwe, India scored 182 runs for 4 wickets with the half-century of captain Shubman Gill. Apart from playing an inning of 66 runs in 49 balls with seven fours and three sixes, opener Gill made a partnership of 67 runs for the first wicket with Yashasvi Jaiswal (36) and 62 runs for the third wicket with Rituraj Gaikwad (49). However, he could not take advantage of this and in the next over, he was caught by Bennett at backward point off Raza’s ball. Facing 27 balls, he hit four fours and two sixes.
