God of Cricket became emotional on Anderson’s retirement, gave this reaction

New Delhi. There was a rivalry on the cricket field between the God of Cricket ‘Sachin Tendulkar’ and England’s fast bowler James Anderson. Anderson’s 21-year long cricket career ended on Friday. On this occasion, India’s great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar praised his ‘old rival’ and said that it was a pleasure to watch him bowl. 41 year old Anderson has taken a total of 704 wickets in 188 tests. He achieved the feat of taking 5 wickets 32 times. England defeated West Indies by an innings and 114 runs in the first Test of the three-match series at Lord’s.

Sachin Tendulkar wrote on ‘X’, ‘Jimmy (James Anderson) you mesmerized the sports lovers with your brilliant spell of 22 years. It was a pleasure to watch you bowl. The speed, accuracy, swing and fitness with which you bowled was amazing. You have inspired many generations with your game.

Tendulkar retired from cricket in 2013. He wished Anderson all the best to spend time with his family away from the hustle and bustle of professional cricket. Tendulkar wrote, ‘Wishing you a wonderful life full of good health and happiness as you prepare for the most important spell of your life – spending time with family.’ Both of them respect each other. Because when Anderson was asked on Thursday which batsman he enjoyed bowling to in his career, this England cricketer had taken the name of Tendulkar.
