Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 is reportedly receiving its first software update. The latest wireless stereo (TWS) headset of the company was launched in India in August 2024, with Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel 9 series of smartphones. Mountain view-based tech veteran has so far announced the rollout of the update, or published a detailed Changelog. In various other reported complaints, upgraded software is expected to fix the volume control issue with the headset.

It was launched with firmware version 2.117, both left and right with a charging case. A redditor has shared a scrabgab of a software update, where the left and right earbuds are seen with version 3.144.
