Government Jobs: There is good news for the candidates looking for government jobs. Applications have been invited for 33 non-gazetted posts in Jammu and Kashmir. These posts have been released for Jammu and Kashmir Corps. But the special thing is that not only the people living in Jammu and Kashmir but also the candidates from the entire country can apply for these posts. Let us tell you that this is the first time after the Central Government abolished Article 370 and 35A in the state on August 5 this year, when applications have been invited from across the country. In fact, now the eligibility for government jobs in Kashmir Valley is not limited to ‘permanent residents’ of Kashmir and Ladakh. Candidates from other states can also apply for these posts.
According to the official notification, Jammu and Kashmir High Court has invited applications for the posts of Stenographer, Typist and Driver. Keep in mind that a candidate can apply for only one post. However, some seats in these posts will be reserved for permanent residents of the state. Candidates will be selected for these seats as per Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Rules 2005. Out of 33 posts, candidates from other states can apply for 17 posts.

Candidates will have to apply online for these posts and submit their application to the Registrar General in Jammu. Whereas people living in Kashmir and Ladakh can submit their applications to the Principal District Judges.
