The Uttar Pradesh government said on Monday that it is taking steps to facilitate Sangam SNA for 2,000 senior citizens at the conclusion of Maha Kumbh.

“For the first time in the Maha Kumbh, the Yogi Adityanath government has started a special camp for the elderly and hearing-Bigri. This camp established by the Social Welfare Department provides free testing and accessories to the needy people.
“Through this initiative, the government has made great progress in ensuring that the elderly, especially from the state -run old houses, have access to essential services and can experience the divine spirit of Kumbh Mela,” Said this.
As part of the state’s comprehensive approach, a 100-bail ashram has been established in the Kumbh region for senior citizens of various old age houses, the government said.
The ashram provides special housing to ensure that elderly devotees can live comfortably, participate in other religious activities of Sangam Snen and Maha Kumbh.
The government plans to facilitate Amrit SNAN for 2,000 elderly devotees by 26 February.
Asim Arun, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Social Welfare, emphasized the government’s commitment for the welfare and security of the elderly.
