New Delhi. Honda has finally introduced its Activa Electric Scooter (Honda Activa E 🙂 and stepped into the Indian electric two-wheeler market. Honda Activa E: Ko has been introduced in two variants – Activa E: and QC1. The company has currently disclosed scooters, while prices will start and booking will start on 1 January.

Equipped with portable battery with great range
Honda Activa E: I have two swapable batteries of 1.5kwh, which once gives a range of 102 km on full charge. These batteries are named Honda Mobile Power Pack E: which is developed by Honda Power Pack Energy India. The company says that it has built battery swapping stations in Bengaluru and Delhi, while they will be prepared soon in Mumbai.
Top speed is 80 km per hour
These batteries power to 6kw permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, which produces 22Nm peak torque. It has three riding modes – Eco, standard and sports. In sports mode it gives a top speed of 80 km per hour and catchs a speed of 0 to 60 kmph in just 7.3 seconds.
Design and features
Honda’s e-scooters have a 12-inch alloy wheels, which supports telescopic forks and dual spring suspension. It has a disk-growth combination for braking. The company will provide Activa Electric Scooter in five color options which will include Pearl Shailo Blue, Pearl Mystery White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matte Foggy Silver Matallic and Pearl Ignius Black colors.
