How global media covers India’s “Operation Sindoor” on Pak terrorist camps

New Delhi:

The Indian armed forces on Wednesday targeted the headquarters of banned groups like Lashkar-e-Tabiba (Late) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (Gem) in missile attacks against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Quiz Kashmir (POK). Military action under “Operation Sindoor”- which came in the form of vengeance of the Pahalgam terrorist attack- started a large-scale coverage from the international media, in which the whole world focused on development.

India’s action marked a major growth in a comprehensive struggle between two nuclear-managed neighbors, in which most global publications echoed the Indian trend that attacks were a calibrated counter-attentive measures rather than the attack. The issue was led in many American and Bitish publication.

In the US media, the New York Times led with the title: “India launched missile attacks inside Pakistan after the Kashmir attack”. Reporting saw the operation as a “major increase” in the India-Pakistan struggle, emphasizing the fact that India had informed the United States before the strike, indicating an attempt to reduce international friction.

The CNN went with the title “Brink of Break of India on India and Pakistan”, its coverage focused huge focus on the use of India’s advanced weapon, such as Rafale fighter jets and scalp cruise missiles. The report also mentions that the attacks were aimed at the purpose of the terrorist infrastructure, not to strengthen India’s stance on military property.

The title of the Washington Post said, “Tension in India increases in Pakistan, Islamabad”, India’s action with the report is called “the show measured show”. Reporting highlighted India’s restraint in avoiding military goals and limiting civilians.

In its reporting of the incident, the BBC emphasized how the terrorist hubs in Bahwalpur and Muridke were the major targets of the Indian strike. His coverage also reflected the concern of the international community about the ability to move forward.

India’s action on Pakistan

India clearly stated on Wednesday that its functions have been centered, measured and focused on non-esclery and that no Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India’s action comes two weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, killing 26 people.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement released at 1.44 pm, “A while ago, the Indian armed forces started ‘Operation Sindoor’, which hit the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.”

“India has demonstrated considerable restraint in the selection of goals and method of execution,” said this.
