HP Omnibuc Ultra Flip 14, when launched, was one of the first laptops to receive the new Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 processor. The new chipset promises better efficiency than series 1, and it looks in a slim ultrabook. However, the OmnibuC Ultra Flip 14 also doubles as a tablet, as it has a 360-degree hinge and a touch-ophpped display.
The convertible offering of HP is one of the 2 -in -1s available in the market with the new Intel Core Ultra Series 2 chipset. However this is not cheap, as the base version starts from the rupee. 1,81,999. The unit that we received for reviews, which packs the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V chipset, retail on the rupee. 1,89,999. Is it worth 2 -in -1 money? Read our review to know this.
HP Omnibucu Ultra Flip 14 Design
At first glance, nothing is particularly particularly especially about the Omnibuc Ultra Flip 14. The laptop is slim, made of aluminum, and there is a matte finish that prefers to hold fingerprints and smuds.
The laptop is smooth and has a matte finish facility
However, if you look closely, you will see that the back edges are angled and USB Type-C ports are given home. Yes, there are no USB Type-A port on the laptop. On the right is a third USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio port on the right.
Below is a big intake vent and firing speakers below
It should be noted that you can charge the laptop only using the Type-C port to the right. You cannot plug anything thick in the Angel USB Type-C port, as the performance comes in the way.
Kaj, which is of the 360-degree type, looked very durable during the review. It was also quite smooth in the function.

OMNIBOOK ULTRA Flip 14 gets a metal HP logo on top, an omnibook monaker outside the right hinge, and a polystudio engraving on the left. Below, you will find a large intake mesh and some rubber legs. The laptop weighs 1.34 kg and is only 14.9 mm thick.
Hp omnibucu ultra flip 14 display
Ultra Flip 14, as the name suggests, has a 14-inch 2.8k resolution OLED panel that is multitched and provides a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and also supports HDR. HP also claims that the panel reaches the 0.2MS response time and 500 knots in HDR mode.
Performance has a reflective coating that makes it difficult to read out
OLED panel is excellent for watching films and especially HDR content. You get deep black and vivid color breeding. The display also gets very bright inside the house, although I recommend not using the laptop due to the shiny panel.
It is an excellent performance with deep blacks and vivid colors
Although the touch reaction on the panel is great, and you can easily use it as a tablet. However, I preferred to use it in tent mode as its use becomes uncomfortable due to weight using it very soon. The panel also supports a stylus input and you get HP rechargeable MPP 2.0 tilt pen in the box.
HP Omnibuc Ultra Flip 14 keyboard, Touchpad, Speaker & Webcam
The keyboard on the laptop is great for typing. The function is a mild shade of gray than the rest of the keyboard, and the power button is a light blue color with an embedded fingerprint scanner. There is good vacancy between the keys, the backlight is quite good, and a decent journey. However, if the key to the arrow was slightly larger, I would have liked it.
The laptop has a large trackpad and a fingerprint scanner
HP has equipped Ultra Flip 14 with a large touchpad that works great and supports multitach gestures. The haptic reaction is also quite good but may be a bit strong.
Although the speakers are not so strong, but indoor is quite good for use. You get dual bottom-firing speakers, which provide clear audio and are loud but decrease in low ends.
The laptop has a 9-megapixel IR webcam that comes with a physical shutter. The quality is good, with adequate details and mostly in the condition of good light. This is better than many other laptop web cameras. However, low-light performance leaves something to be desired.
Hp omnibucu ultra flip 14 software
Since it is a Copilot+ PC, you get a pair of AI features, but Microsoft’s marquee recall feature was not found anywhere. Laptop Windows 11 runs home and you get a bunch of HP software such as Poly Camera Pro, AI Saathi, HP Smart, McAfi Livesfe and HP Omen.
HP AI partner is for those who treat a lot of PDF at work
While most of apps that I mentioned above were not really useful, you can use AI Saathi App to find through PDF, if something that you do a lot. The laptop has a powerful Intel NPU, but does not have enough AI facilities to keep it through its pace.
You can use Copilot chatboat and a bunch of AI tools is also available in paint which can be helpful. Poly Camera Pro app can also come in handy during video calls or streaming as it offers a bunch of auto framing, background, watermark, spotlight and camera filters. There is also Windows Studio effect that can increase your video calling experience.
HP Omnibuk Ultra Flip 14 Performance
Our review unit was paired with 32 GB RAM, 1 TB storage and Intel Arc 140 V with 140th integrated GPU with Intel Core Ultra 7 258V chipset. The laptop performed quite well in day-to-day use, which was used Chrome, which included a bunch of open, video streaming on YouTube or Netflix, with apps such as apps and many typing.
Intel Core Ultra Series 2 Chips are highly efficient
I ran a group of benchmarks on the laptop, to see how this series 1 Intel Core performed against Ultra Chips and you can see improvement, especially in the GPU performance.
Benchmark | Hp omnibucu ultra flip 14 | Dale Latitude 7450 2 -in -1 | Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 |

The integrated GPU is also quite good for running games such as Forza Horizon 4, which distributes about 40–50fps on the laptop. I never ran into any major issues or intervals when using laptops, and the cooling system managed heat well during heavy tasks such as gaming and video editing.
HP Omnibucu Ultra Flip 14 Battery
The battery life on Omanibuk Ultra Flip 14 was impressive, at least to say. I was able to obtain 9–10 hours out of the laptop continuously (a full working day), with about 30 percent of the battery still survived. The new Intel Core Ultra Series 2 chipsets are definitely more efficient than before, while the performance is not much more sacrificed.
Hp omnibucu ultra flip 14 decisions
Time for the verdict, and I would like to say that HP OmnibuC Ultra Flip 14 is definitely on the expensive side, and it is holding me back from recommending users. However, if the price is not an issue, and it should see a drop soon, then it is a good purchase from HP 2 -in -1 laptop.
The Omnibuc Ultra Flip 14 has an excellent OLED display, good performance, especially gaming, great battery in life, and portable. While it remembers some basics such as USB Type-A Port, it is not so bad. If you are looking for 2 -in -1 with an excellent screen and good battery life, this is a really good option.
