For the first time in Finland, researchers at Nanocines Center at Jyväskylä University, Finland have separated a huge virus, named Jyvaskylavirus. Search shows that giant viruses are more common in northern regions, as researchers thought. It also shows that there are still many structures that have not been properly studied by origin and functions.
