Air conditioners are used throughout the rainy season, from hot summer to rainy season. The air from AC becomes even more comfortable during the rainy season. An important reason for this is that during monsoon, the amount of moisture in the air increases significantly, due to which the cooler and fan feel sticky. But if you talk about the air of AC, then it works to absorb moisture and throws dry air, due to which the feeling of cooling is very good.

But during rainy days, we often see water splashes coming from the AC unit. There are many of us who do not pay attention to this thing, but you should know the reasons due to which this happens.

drain pipe- There is a drain pan beneath the evaporator coil that collects waste water before draining it out of your home. But if this pan is broken or rusted, it can cause water to leak inside your home instead of going down the drain line. Therefore its timely servicing is necessary.

If your outdoor unit is installed on the ceiling or the U trap of the connecting pipe is not installed, then rain water can enter the room through the hole that connects the AC to the unit.

Drain pipe blockage- The moisture that the AC absorbs is thrown out through the drain pipe in the form of water. During the heat wave, less water comes out from the drain pipe of the AC because the air is dry during the heat wave, due to which moisture does not accumulate so much. At the same time, during the rainy season, more water falls from the AC drain pipe because there is a lot of moisture in the air. Therefore, you have to see that there is no garbage of any kind stuck in the drain pipe which is blocking the water from coming out.

air filter- You will be surprised to know that almost every problem of air conditioner starts from dirty air filter. Over time, dust and debris accumulate on your AC filter, which can reduce air circulation. Due to this, the evaporator coil becomes very cold and then when it melts, water starts leaking.

may cause loss
Dripping water from air vents can cause damage to walls, floors and furniture and can also cause slipping on the ground if attention is not paid at the right time.
