Rural areas are flooded. Roads have turned into ponds. Due to this, traffic has come to a standstill and the wedding season is also going on. So people are taking the help of boats to carry the wedding procession.
In such a situation, it is very risky to take the marriage procession by boat to a flood affected village at the time of marriage and bring it back after giving farewell. Yes, we are talking about Parsohiya Sadanand of Dumariyaganj tehsil area under Siddharthnagar district, which is about 90 km from the district headquarters. There was a wedding of a girl in a family here at night. The village was so filled with flood water that the boat was the only support for the journey of about three kilometres.

It was early morning in the journey and farewell was done by boat. When the bride and groom returned to a safe place on the boat, a crowd of women started gathering to see the bride.
