Moscow:

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that he supported a trussal idea with Ukraine, but said he had “serious questions” as to how it would be implemented that he wanted to discuss with Donald Trump.

Putin said at a press conference in Moscow, “We agree with the proposals to stop enmity, but on the basis that from that time it will be peaceful and will address the root causes of crisis.”

“But there are nuances,” he said.

He said that Russian soldiers were currently in the middle of an aggressive with the aim of running the keywide outside the Kursk region.

“If we prevent enmity for 30 days, what does it mean? That everyone who is there will go out without any fight? … How will the supervision (of ceasefire) be held? All these are serious questions.

“I think we need to talk to our American colleagues … Maybe make a phone call with President Trump and discuss it with him,” he asked reporters.

He said that Russian soldiers had practically moving forward in all areas of the front line and Moscow would decide their “next step” based on their army’s success to get Ukrainian soldiers out of the cush.
