In Karnataka Town, Israeli tourists were found to be dead

Bengaluru:

Two women, including a 27 -year -old Israeli tourist and a homestay owner, were allegedly gang -raped by three people in Karnataka on Thursday night. The incident occurred when they were stagzing on the quiet banks of a canal in Koppal, about 350 km from Tech Hub Bangalore, along with three other passengers.

The accused pushed three passengers into the canal before targeting the women. While Daniel, who is from the United States, and Pankaj, a passenger from Maharashtra managed to swim outside, drowned from Odisha. His body was found on Saturday morning.

A senior police officer has assured that the accused will be arrested soon.

Police said women are recovering in a government hospital

“Five people – two women and three men – were attacked near Sanapur. Two of them are foreigners – an American, and a woman from a woman Israel. The woman said in her complaint that both women were sexually assaulted by the accused,” Ram L. Arsadi, Superintendent of Police, Kopal said.

The owner of the 29 -year -old Homestay said in his complaint that he and four guests had gone to Stargaging on the banks of Tungabhadra, when the accused arrived on a bike, left the bank canal after dinner.

He first asked where they could get petrol and then started demanding Rs 100 from passengers. On refusal, he attacked the passengers, pushed men into the canal, and raped women, read the complaint. He ran away on his motorcycle after committing the crime.

Firefighter officers and police dog squad in search of missing tourist – who was later found dead

Yesterday, fire officers and police dog squad were deployed to find Bibash. His body was found on the banks of the canal this morning.

Police said that women are recovering in a government hospital, but if they want, they can be transferred to a private hospital. On the basis of the complaint, a police case has been filed under allegations of rape, collective and robbery.

Shri Arsidi said that women took immediate action after filing their complaint. He said that the accused are being identified, and two special teams are investigating the case. He said that women have done medical checkups to confirm the rape.
