The Railway Ministry on Friday dubbed a new superapp dubbing in India. It is presented as a public-support services such as reserved ticket booking, ordering food on trains and an one-stop shop for PNR inquiry. Currently available for both Android and iOS platforms in Beta, the purpose of Swarel Superp is to reduce the app chaos and space usage by eliminating the requirement of several apps for managing railway services on the phone.

Swarail is superapp advanced By Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). It acts as an one-stop solution, which integrates all Indian Railways public-facing apps in the same platform. With Swareel Superp, users in India can book reserved, unreserved and platform tickets, inquire about parcels and freight delivery, track train and PNR status, order food on trains, and Contact ‘Rail Madad’ for complaints and questions, as the Ministry of Railways.
Currently, the Indian Railways offers separate apps for ticket booking and inquiries about train movements and programs. However, Swarail Superapp is called an integrated platform, which can be used directly from the smartphone to perform the above tasks for increased convenience. Its integration will allow it to display more information.
Citing an example, the Railway Ministry said that the PNR will also showcase the information related to the inquiry train. It provides single sign-on functionality, allowing users to use all services. They can also be used in other Indian railway apps, such as IRCTC Railconnect and UTS Mobile App. In addition, users can also use their existing rail connect or UTS app credentials to onboard the app. It offers several login options including M-Pin and biometric authentication.
It is currently available in beta on both Android And IOS The platform and users can enter their response to its improvement. Swarel Superp will be released publicly after intensive evaluation by the Ministry of Railways.
