Infinix Note 50x 5G is set to launch in India on 27 March. The company had earlier raised the design of the upcoming handset’s rear camera module. Now, the brand has confirmed that the phone will run on XOS 15, based on Android 15, out-of-the-box. Infinix has unveiled some of the major features of the XOS 15 user interface. In particular, the preceding Infinix Note 40X 5G, unveiled in August 2024, was sent with Android 14-based XOS 14.
XOS 15 key features
Android 15- Based XOS 15 will offer better privatization, fluid animation and smart AI features, the company claimed in a press release. Infinix Note 50x 5G, which is scheduled to be launched in India on 27 March, “will be the first device that runs out of the box on XOS 15.”
The company confirmed that the XOS 15 provides a new boot-up animation and adaptable icon, which can be individual by size, shape and color. Users can choose from 25 font styles as well as to customize the icon more.
The XOS 15 will offer one-tech wallpaper and vogue portraits features that will allow users to use “in united wallpapers in gallery images” on their home and lock screen, as well as other main screens and adapt to them. The OS mobile will also be equipped with anti-chori security facility.
For better productivity and entertainment experience, XOS 15 is said to come up with a dedicated game mode, a smart panel, a PC connection facility and “more functional dynamic bar” with Google Maps support.
The integrated game mode with Xarena is claimed to increase gaming performance with individual settings. On the other hand, the dynamic bar is asked to introduce “a non-guspath method to see important information”. Using PC connection feature, users will be able to enjoy cross-device connectivity tools such as screen mirring and easy file sharing.
The XOS 15 update includes one-tap Infinix AI, which is asked to improve productivity and convenience. A host of AI features has AI Note (on notepad), AI wallpaper generators, writing assistants and AIGC portrait modes. The latter will help users to create a fun avatar “in real time and” fun avatar “in the template.”
Google’s circle to search feature will also come in the Infinix handset with XOS 15 updates, the company confirmed. It also has Flax, AI-Purd Virtual Assistant of Infinix, who can “help with tasks through voice, text and image-based interactions.” It is said to be favorable to personal preferences. Call Assistant features are claimed to help give call auto-north and to enable call summit.
