Israel’s Energy Minister Elli Cohen said on Sunday that he had instructed Gaza to stop the power supply, a week later Israel blocked all assistance in the war-service Palestinian region.
The move is the echo of the early days of the war when Israel announced a “siege”, which included an electrical cutoff for Gaza.
Cohen said in a video statement, “I have signed an order to close the power supply immediately in the Gaza strip,” a video statement said: “We will use all the equipment at our disposal to bring back the hostages and ensure that Hamas is no longer in Gaza after the war.
Over the last weekend, Israel announced that it was inhibiting Gaza to help delivery until the Palestinian militants accepted their terms for the expansion of the ceasefire, which had to a large extent to fight for more than 15 months.
The first stage of the Trus, which ended on 1 March, enabled the entry of important food, shelter and medical aid.
While Israel has stated that he wants to expand the first phase by the middle of April, Hamas has emphasized transition in the second phase that aims to lead a permanent end for the war.

Out of 251 prisoners carried out during Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, 58 are in the Palestinian region, with 34 Israeli army confirmed that they have died.
On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hamas of results, if the Palestinian Islamist movement did not release the hostages, it cannot “imagine”.
Israeli media said on Monday that Netanyahu planned to increase “maximum pressure” on Hamas in the coming weeks to accept the expansion of the first phase under Israel’s terms.
Public Broadcaster Kan said that Israel has planned to increase pressure under a plan called “Hel Plan”, which includes aid block with “displacing residents from the North Gaza Strip, which has been included to resume the power supply and the fight on the full scale.”
Israel implemented “full siege” in the region after October 9, 2023, cut water, electricity and food supply, sometimes loose, sometimes tightens the entry of support until the ceasefire reduced the reach of the humanitarian aid truck.
