When is Janmashtami?
According to Drik Panchang, this year the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month will start on 26 August 2024 at 03:39 am and will end the next day on 27 August 2024 at 02:19 am.
Shri Krishna Janmashtami Puja Muhurta: On the occasion of the 5251st birth anniversary of Lord Shri Krishna, the auspicious time for worship is from 12:27 pm to 12:44 pm on 26 August 2024.
Janmashtami puja method:
First of all, bathe Bal Gopal with milk, curd, ghee and Ganga water.
After this, after wiping it with a clean cloth, make Laddu Gopal wear new clothes.
After bathing, make up Bal Gopal in child form.
Start worshiping him. Offer butter and sugar candy.
First of all, offer the food prepared at home to Bal Gopal.
Do not use garlic and onion while making Prasad for Laddu Gopal on this day.
