Officials said prominent political leaders including Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya and Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu visited Maha Kumbh on Wednesday and took a holy dip in the confluence.

The statement of an official said that Ms. Sitarman, who was with her family members, described the experience as a “deep moment” in the Sanatan tradition.

Highlighting the global significance of the BJP MP, Bangalore South, Maha Kumbh, Tejashwi Surya said, “Today, I got the privilege of taking a dip in the confluence with hundreds of BJYM workers. No incident of this scale has ever been held anywhere. Has been the president of the world.

Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said, “This tradition has been continuing for generations. I think the witness and participation in the Maha Kumbh has participated in my lifetime. Energy and positivity here are incredible.”

Shiv Sena MP Srikanth Shinde also thanked for being a part of the “Once-in-Lifetime” event.

“Maha Kumbh comes once in 144 years, and I consider myself lucky to participate in it. Crores of people are here to take a sacred bath, which is a really magnificent spiritual confluence,” said Mr. Shinde.
