Materials for worshiping Goddess Lakshmi: During Mahalakshmi fast, puja was carried out including Kalash, ghee, lamp, fruits and flowers, betel nut, lump of turmeric, roli, kumkum, camphor, panchamrit, paan, red cloth, 16 makeup items, incense sticks, coconut, kheer, etc. Gather all the materials.
Mahalakshmi fast: method of worship
Wake up early in the morning on the first day of Mahalakshmi fast.
Wear clean clothes after bathing.
After cleaning the temple, place a small post at the place of worship.
Spread a red cloth on this post.
Now install the idol of Goddess Lakshmi above.
Offer red chunari and clothes to Goddess Lakshmi.
After this, offer them 16 makeup items.
Light a lamp in front of the mother.
Offer fruits, flowers, incense sticks and naivedya to Goddess Lakshmi.

Rules of Mahalakshmi fast:
Mahalakshmi’s fast is observed for 16 days. During this period, consumption of sour and salty foods is prohibited.

During Mahalaxmi Vrat, the devotee along with his family members should not consume Tamasic food. Eat only satvik food.
