Bengaluru:

In a shocking incident, a man killed his son in Bengaluru on Wednesday, near his son’s school, near his son’s school.

The incident occurred in Vinayakanagar, Hebbagodi near Annakal Town. The victim has been identified as 29 -year -old Sriganga, and the accused husband as Mohanraj. The accused has been arrested by the police.

According to the police, Sriganga and Mohanraj had been married for seven years and had a six -year -old son. Two years ago, Mohanraj suspected his wife to have a relationship with a friend, causing frequent quarrels. The couple were living separately for the last eight months.

On Tuesday night, Mohanraj visited his wife’s residence to see his child, during which an argument broke out between them. On Wednesday morning, while Sriganga was riding his bike to leave his son in school, Mohanraj, who was waiting for him, stopped him in the middle of the road and attacked him. He stabbed him near the school premises, repeatedly.

Eyewitnesses took the seriously injured Sriganga to a private hospital, but she bowed to her injuries.

Reacting to the incident, Bengaluru Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) SK Baba said that the attack took place as Sriganga was leaving his son in school. Despite being taken to the hospital, he could not be saved.

He said, “The police have arrested the accused, Mohanraj and legal proceedings have been initiated against him. The attack took place near the school premises, and a case has been registered at Hebbagodi police station,” he said.

Further investigation revealed that Mohanraj and his friend worked in the same factory. At one point, Mohanraj allowed his friend to stay at his residence, causing a conflict between him and Sriganga. He suspected that he had a connection with his friend, which gave air to his marital disputes.

After his separation, Mohanraj was reportedly angered as he did not see his son for several months. The police is now confirming his statements and has initiated a detailed investigation into the case.
