Police said that in Ashrafpur village on Tuesday, a man killed his 19 -year -old daughter with a rod and later ate poison, the police said.
An official said that Rajpal, who had allegedly killed his daughter on suspicion of an affair, was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
Additional Superintendent of Police Shriish Chandra said that the body of the girl was sent for postmortem.
No case has been filed in this case so far for lack of complaint, the ASP said.
