New Delhi. Ever since Maruti Suzuki launched the 5-door Jimny in June 2023, 4×4 is facing a lot of difficulties in gaining hold in the market. Only 274 Jimny units were sold in May. After this, Maruti Suzuki has increased the discount to Rs 2.5 lakh. This offer may sound like a lot. But, this is true.
The company is making every possible effort to vacate Jimny units. Last month, benefits up to Rs 1.5 lakh were being given by the company. Maruti Suzuki has increased it to Rs 2.5 lakh in the month of July. According to the report of Financial Express, the top model, Alpha is getting a maximum discount of up to Rs 2.5 lakh. This offer is available for both manual and automatic versions and includes a cash discount of Rs 1 lakh as well as a promotional offer of Rs 1.5 lakh which is available only for Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance customers.

The entry-level trim, Zeta, is getting a flat cash discount of Rs 1 lakh and an additional discount of Rs 1 lakh for Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance customers. These benefits are applicable for both Zeta manual and automatic variants.
Specifications of Maruti Suzuki Jimny
Jimny has a 1,462cc naturally aspirated petrol engine, which has idle start-stop function. Its output is 103 bhp and 134.2 Nm of torque and it is mated to 5-speed manual or 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. According to Maruti Suzuki, the Jimny manual gives a mileage of 16.94 kmpl while the automatic version gives a mileage of 16.39 kmpl.
