Microsoft on Tuesday launched two new surface Copilot+ PCs operated by Snapdragon X Plus processor. Run on the latest Microsoft Surface Laptop 13-inch and Surface Pro 12-inch octa-core Snapdragon X Plus processor. These include a dedicated nerve processing unit (NPU) that is capable of delivering 45 trillion operations per second (tops). Microsoft’s Surface Pro 12-inch has a 2-in-1 design, while the new surface laptop is claimed to provide the longest battery life of all surface devices to 13-inch. It is said to offer video playback time up to 23 hours on a charge. The new models will start shipping to select global markets later this month.

Microsoft Surface Laptop was 13-inch Announced With an initial price tag of $ 899 (about Rs 76,000). It comes in sea, platinum and violet color options. The new surface pro starts at 12-inch $ 799 (about 67,000 rupees).
The brand-new surface devices are confirmed to be available in select markets starting from May 20. Interested users today can pre-order them through Microsoft website and Best by US and Amazon US through major retailers. Availability in India has not yet been confirmed.
The company also revealed that the new surface laptop and Surface Pro will be available to commercial customers in select markets on July 22. For business, this surface is designed for business customers with Windows 11 Pro, Anti-Riflective Display, an NFC reader (on Surface Pro), and other safety and management facilities for business.

The new surface laptop of Microsoft is 13-inch full-HD touchscreen display surrounded by narrow bezels. It comes with an inbuilt AI-supported camera with auto video HDR and A-Nahnhesed noise reduction feature. This model has so far been claimed to have the thinnest and lightest surface laptop of Microsoft. Microsoft states that the device is smaller than a standard notebook.
The surface laptop runs 13 inch on a Snapdragon X Plus processor, including an integrated 45 tops NPU. This surface laptop is advertised to be 50 percent faster than 5. Microsoft also suggests that it is faster than Apple’s MacBook Air M3. It comes with 16GB, 24GB RAM option 256GB and 512GB storage.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop is an anodized aluminum chassis at 13-inch. It can be paired with the surface arch mouse. It is advertised to provide video playback time up to 23 hours on a charge and maximum 16 hours active web browsing time. It supports up to 45W fast charging through the USB Type-C port. It shipblies with a fingerprint reader manufactured in power button and has a dedicated Copilot key. The laptop claims an adaptable precise touchpad.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 12-inch has a 12-inch touch display and a 2-in-1 form factor that provides the functionality of both laptop and tablet. It gets an underlying adjustable kickstand and viosya keyboard. It is equipped with Snapdragon X Plus processor with an integrated 45 tops NPU. It packs 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and is available in 256GB and 512GB storage options.
Users can magnetically attach the surface slim pen to charge and store the Microsoft Surface Pro 12-inch. It can be paired with a 12-inch keyboard that converts the device into a laptop. The surface Pro is available in 12-inch keyboard slate, ocean and purple colors. This includes a full -size backlit keyboard with dedicated Copilot and lock keys. The viosual keyboard has a customized accurate touchpad with adaptive touch mode.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 12-inch is said to provide a full day battery life in a charge. It weighs 0.68 kg. Microsoft has not included a charger in the box for its latest surface devices.
