New Delhi:
Vice President Jagdeep Dhikar said on Monday that illegal migrants have posed a security threat to the country, saying that such people can never be ready for our nationalism.
Addressing a group of Rajya Sabha intern in Delhi, Vice President Dhankhar said that such people are a threat to India’s democracy as they are “trying to influence our electoral system”.
An official statement said, “They are also a threat to our country’s security for our social harmony.”
“We have to look for challenges. Challenge for the nation (that) millions of illegal migrants are living in our land. Is this not a challenge for our sovereignty? Such people will never be done for our nationalism,” Said.
“They use our resources of our health, education and other facilities. They are engaged in jobs for our people. I hope everyone in the government will take a serious look at it. This problem and resolution till a day Even the Vice President Dhakhar said, “How can a nation suffer illegal migrants.”
