Regarding this, IMD has issued a red alert in Bihar today. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, Konkan and Goa. Orange alert has been issued in these states.

Along with this, IMD has also predicted heavy rain at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Western Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat State, Coastal and North Interior Karnataka. The possibility has been expressed. Whereas there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers with lightning at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and Gujarat state today.

According to IMD’s weather bulletin, southern parts of Northeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Northwest Arabian Sea, many parts of Eastcentral Arabian Sea and most parts of Westcentral Arabian Sea, Northern parts of Southwest Arabian Sea and adjoining Southeast Arabian Sea, 35 kmph to 45 kmph over Sagar, Gulf of Mannar, Sri Lanka coast, southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal, most parts of central and northwest Bay of Bengal, north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts. Stormy weather is expected with speeds of up to 1 hour per hour. The wind speed there can increase to 55 km per hour. Also along and off Somalia coast, northern parts of southwest Arabian Sea, most parts of westcentral Arabian Sea, along and off south Oman coast with wind speed reaching 45 kmph to 55 kmph. There is a possibility of stormy weather.
