According to an official release, the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved the implementation of the Government of India’s centrally sponsored scheme ‘National e-Vidhan Application’ (Neva) in the state assembly.
A proposal in this regard was put forward in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Mohan Yadav at the Ministry in Bhopal on Wednesday and the Council of Ministers approved it unanimously.
The Council of Ministers approved the implementation of ‘National e-Vidhan Application’ (Neva) project worth about Rs 23 crore in Madhya Pradesh Assembly. Under the Digital India program of the Government of India, the centrally sponsored ‘National e-Vidhan Application’ scheme has been launched by the Government of India to make all the Legislative Assemblies of the country paperless and bring them on one platform. â60 per cent of the cost of implementing the scheme will be borne by the Government of India and by the state government,â the release read.
The Cabinet approved the rationalization of students living in hostels, ashrams and community welfare centers run under the Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribe Welfare Department as per the scholarship rates determined by the Scheduled Caste Welfare/Tribal Affairs Department.
As per the approval, the current monthly scholarship for boys will be increased from Rs 1230 to Rs 1550 and for girls from Rs 1270 to Rs 1590 per month.
Along with this, it has been decided by the Scheduled Caste Welfare/Tribal Affairs Department to increase the rate of scholarship in future on the basis of price index and to approve it for Vimukt, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Department also.
The Council of Ministers also approved inviting tenders for seven projects of the Narmada Valley Development Department worth Rs 9,271.96 crore.

Along with this, the state cabinet gave administrative approval to Bokaro Micro Irrigation Project worth Rs 46 crore for 3310 hectare irrigation area.
The statement said that through the project, irrigation facilities will be provided to farmers of 11 villages of tehsil Rampura Naikin.
