MWC 2025: Samsung Unveils Flexible Briefcase, Flex Gaming Console and More

The Samsung display demonstrated several advanced OLED screen and foldable display techniques at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025) in Barcelona, ​​which also includes its OCF smartphone display that claims to be shine up to 5,000nits. The firm also closed the concept devices, including a ‘flexible briefcase’, a flex gaming console, and its bezel-less OLED tile display. Samsung also unveiled the 27-inch QD-Olade Monitor, with a 500 Hz refresh rate, as well as laptops equipped with 15.6 inch 240 Hz OLED screens.

Samsung’s OCF displays provide high peaks glowing, without an increase in power consumption

In MWC 2025, Samsung Exhibited Its on-cell film (OCF) OLED panel, which is claimed to offer “1.5 times shine” compared to the current OLED screen, while taking into account the power consumption. These OCF displays have a peak level of up to 5,000nits, and the company showed the panel with a regular OLED screen used on the smartphone.

Samsung says that OCF panels were developed for its leadership (low power, environmentally friendly, enhanced glow, and thin and thin) initiative. The company also claims that OCF displays are thinner than regular OLED panels and can perform in very bright landscapes.

Like the most concept equipment shown in technology shows such as CES and MWC, it is not clear whether Samsung plans to convert some of these designs into commercial equipment.
