When is Nag Panchami?
According to Drik Panchang, this year the Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month is starting on 9th August 2024 at 8:15 am and will end on the next day i.e. 10th August at 06:09 am. Therefore, as per Udayatithi, Nag Panchami will be celebrated on 9th August.
Auspicious time of worship: On this day, the special time of puja will start at 12.13 pm and end at 1 pm. On this day, worship of Nag Devta has great importance during Pradosh period. The best time to worship Nag Devta will be from 6:33 PM to 8:20 PM on 9th August.
Many coincidences will happen on Nag Panchami: This year, on the occasion of Nag Panchami, Nag Panchami will be celebrated in the auspicious combination of Shivvas Yoga, Siddha Yoga, Sadhya Yoga, Bav and Balav, Karan Yoga and Hasta Nakshatra.
Remedies for Nag Panchami Kaalsarp Dosh:
On the day of Nag Panchami, make the shape of a snake with cow dung, saffron or clay at the main gate of the house. Worship it properly. This will strengthen your financial condition and the problems caused by Kaal Sarp Dosh will go away.
Chanting the mantras of Rahu and Ketu on Nag Panchami is considered beneficial. On this day, chant Rahu Mantra- ‘Om Ra Rahve Namah’ and Ketu Mantra- ‘Om Ke Ketve Namah’.
On the day of Nagpanchami, get Shrimad Bhagwat Purana and Shri Harivansh recited. This will provide relief from all the sorrows and sufferings of life.
It is also auspicious to worship Bhairav Baba on the day of Nag Panchami. On this day, offer raw milk to Bhairav Baba during worship.
