Mother Brahmacharini is worshiped on the second day of Shardiya Navratri. By worshiping the Mother Goddess with rituals, one attains renunciation along with knowledge and meditation. Mother Brahmacharini is simple natured and guides the wicked. Maa Brahmacharini is worshiped in the Havan by offering incense, camphor, cloves, dry fruits, sugar candy and desi ghee.
Mother Brahmacharini worship method: Wake up in the morning, take bath and clean the temple. Anoint Goddess Durga with Ganga water. Offer Akshat, red sandalwood, chunri and red flowers to the mother. Perform Jalabhishek of all the Gods and Goddesses and apply fruits, flowers and tilak. Offer fruits and sweets as prasad. Light incense sticks and a ghee lamp in the home temple. Recite Durga Saptashati and Durga Chalisa. Keep camphor and cloves on betel leaves and perform the aarti of Mata Brahmacharini. Pray for forgiveness at the end. According to beliefs, Lord Shiva is also pleased by worshiping Bhagwati Brahmacharini.
