Shares of Adani group companies remained in heavy demand in morning trade on Tuesday, with Adani Total Gas rising nearly 20 per cent. All 10 listed companies of the group were trading with sharp gains during morning trade, defying the soft trend in the equity market.
Adani Total Gas shares rose by 19.61 per cent, Adani Energy Solutions shares rose by 13 per cent, Adani Power shares rose by 8.46 per cent, Adani Green Energy shares rose by 7.84 per cent, Adani Enterprises shares rose by 13 per cent. Shares rose 7 percent, Adani Wilmar shares rose 6.86 percent and NDTV shares rose by 6.42 percent on BSE.
Adani Ports gained 3.71 percent, Ambuja Cements gained 3.66 percent and ACC gained 2.86 percent.
Share prices of Adani group companies also rose on Friday as the Supreme Court heard petitions seeking a probe into fraud allegations against the group and reserved its verdict.
Nine of the 10 listed group companies ended in the green on Friday, adding Rs 14,786 crore to their combined market capitalisation, stock exchange data showed.
Stock markets remained closed on Monday on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. In the broader equity market, the benchmark indices faced a highly volatile trend and ranged between higher and lower levels.
