The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested four members associated with the banned CPI (MAOISTS) in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday on Tuesday.

The arrested persons are on the ground workers (OGWS), who have joined the terrorist organization to harass and provide them with logistics support, the NIA said in an official statement.

The agency identified him as Anish Khan alias Annu Khan, Anil Kumar Netam, Jessing and Raghuveer.

“All are staunch members of CPI (Maoists), arranging shelters and supplied materials, including explosives and detonators to the Maoists,” NIA said.

It said that the arrest was made in connection with the case related to the recovery of arms from the cadres of the CPI (MAOIS) Kumeleri Area Committee in Kankar district.

The NIA investigation further revealed that the attack and meeting for the election boycott calls in the state was planned by DVC Sonu and DVC Prasad, members of CPI (Maoists), both were active in the Kyomo area of ​​Kankar district.

“Two armed cadres were successfully caught before the attack on the police party,” he said.
