PM Modi in Austria: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met many stalwarts from different fields on his two-day visit to Austria. During this, PM Modi also met Austrian physicist and Nobel Prize winner Anton Zeilinger. After meeting PM Modi, Anton Zeilinger became his admirer and described him as a person with deep spiritual inclination.
While talking to the media, Anton said, ‘I felt that the Indian PM is a very spiritual man and I myself am a person of similar thoughts. All the leaders of the world should have these qualities. He further said that with the help of this quality, you not only inspire the youth of your country to follow your ideas but also educate them.
‘India becomes a big power in technology’
Nobel Prize winner Anton Zeilinger said that in the present times, India has emerged as a major power in the field of technology because of following spiritual ideas. He told that during his conversation with PM Modi, both of them discussed quantum information and technology. According to a press release of PMO, PM Modi also informed Anton Zeilinger about India’s National Quantum Mission.

Austrian physicist and Nobel laureate Anton Zeilinger received the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2022. Anton Zeilinger is known for his research in the field of Quantum Mechanics.
There was a grand welcome in Austria
PM Modi was given a grand welcome in Austria. The Austrian choir also performed on the Indian national song ‘Vande Mataram’ to welcome PM Modi. This choir of about 50 members was led by Vijay Upadhyay of Indian origin. This was the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Vienna in almost 40 decades, so the European country also left no stone unturned in welcoming him. The Chancellor and top officials themselves had arrived to receive PM Modi at the airport.
Why was this visit special?
PM Modi’s visit to Austria was very important towards strengthening the relations between the two countries. During bilateral talks, both the countries also emphasized on increasing the target of mutual trade.
