It is rumored to launch several new smartphones including a flagship device in the coming months as a follow -up of Nathing Phone 2. As part of its plans, the UK -based original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has again teased an upcoming product. Its social media handle which can be its next smartphone. It appears that it has a dual rear camera unit and a transparent design, which has become synonymous with the company in recent years.
Nothing was teased smartphone
Through many Posts On X (East Twitter), Nathing shared several design sketches that appear to be a smartphone with “WIP” text, which could be a brief term for work in progress. The first sketch partially shows a phone with a transparent back panel that has screws from place to place.
In the attached sketch, two circles are placed in the structure of the nothing phone 2A model, similar to the camera unit of the model. This shows that this component may be the rear camera of the alleged phone. However, it does not show the entire rear cover, so it is unknown whether the device will get the company’s signature gliff interface.
It came a day after the development company released another teaser of the upcoming product using the image of Arcanin Pokémon. Although there was no details, it is estimated that it is a teaser for the Nathing Phone 3, which confirms previous reports that the handset can wear codename archeanin.
The recently leaked email sent by Nathing CEO CEO Carl Pei mentions Nathing plans for 2025, including a “historic” launch. Along with this, it also confirmed the nickname of the company’s upcoming flagship phones and will actually be known as Nathing Phone 3. The alleged device can be launched in Q1 2025 as the successor of Nathing Phone 2. This phone is said to have the first step towards offering an AI-managed platform and it will be possible through important innovations in the context of user interface.
