It has been learned that the instant messaging service is planning to change its green checkmark to blue color. According to the report, WhatsApp will replace the green checkmark with blue checkmark for verified businesses. Giving this information, WABetaInfo has said that WhatsApp is releasing a new update where the green checkmark has turned blue. Apart from this, all verified channels will get a new checkmark after the update.

WB has reported that the purpose of this latest update is to make verification badges uniform across all meta platforms. Blue tick will look like a blue checkmark on Instagram and Facebook.

WABetaInfo has also shared a screenshot of it, according to which the new blue checkmark will replace the old green badge, which will align the look of the app with other meta platforms. Its objective is to provide a similar experience in all its apps.

Let us tell you that WhatsApp is currently testing this change, and some beta users who have installed the latest WhatsApp beta for Android from Google Play Store can now see the new blue checkmark. It is expected that this feature will be launched for more users in the coming weeks.

New feature related to AI is coming
Before this, the company has announced another special feature. Under this feature, users will be able to get their photos made by AI. This feature has been introduced on WhatsApp for beta version 2.24.14.7.

WABetaInfo has given information about this feature, and has also shared the screenshot. If we look at the screenshot, it shows that with the new feature, users can click their photo and get it made in different forms by AI. That means users will get their AI generated photos.
